Proposal Management and Development

Proposal Writing and Editing
MMN Consulting, LLC offers technical writing of original text based on information gleaned or rewriting text to comply with proposal requirements. This includes the following:

  • Identify information needed to draft a section

  • Interview subject matter experts to obtain required, in-depth information

  • Perform basic (Internet/Google) research to obtain needed information

  • Synthesize existing source material for use in a proposal section

  • Organize topics for a particular proposal section

  • Incorporate review comments and update/improve sections

  • Compare with related sections to ensure consistency

  • Working with your proposal writer to ensure that the proposal presents a consistent style, format, and logical flow and organization.

    • Develop and/or enforce a proposal style guide

    • Correct all errors in spelling, punctuation, format, and grammar

    • Suggest revisions relative to compliance and consistency

    • Work one-on-one with proposal writers

    • Revise and improve sentence construction, organization of ideas, clarity of thoughts, and conciseness of words


Proposal Reviews
If you need another set of eyes to assess your proposal before submittal, MMN Consulting, LCC can serve as a review team member or conduct an independent review of specific proposal sections or all volumes.  Clients can count on thorough, frank assessments and actionable out-briefs including specific fixes and improvements.


GSA Proposals

Services include evaluation of your company’s sales potential with different contracting vehicles.  For example, if you are interested in GSA, will be identify top competitors, discuss your company’s potential for success, and development of a GSA Schedule proposal. MMN Consulting, LLC will be there to help you during negotiations with GSA too. 


Keep in mind that, according to GSA, there are several important points to consider:


  • 80% of GSA Schedule holders are small businesses, who represent 36% of sales;

  • More than $40 billion flows through GSA Schedules every year;

  • Approximately 10% of federal government needs were procured through the GSA Schedule holders;

  • GSA has over 19,000 companies on a Schedule; and,

  • Approximately 40% of the companies on a GSA Schedule (contract) generate sales – 60% had no sales.
